As such, he showed up in New Orleans clad in armor reminiscent of that worn by Thor in the "Thor: Ragnarok" film. The movie sees the titular character race to escape an alien planet in order to return to and save his home world of Asgard. Similarly, Gargano battled Ciampa in an attempt to officially return to NXT from exile. After nearly forty minutes, Johnny did just that, earning his reinstatement to the brand. And while it seemed he'd finally saved NXT from Ciampa's vile ways, if comic books and superhero movies have taught us anything, it's that the villain is never quite dead and buried.
