9 Laws Of Physics That Only Exist In Wrestling

8. The Law Of Inverted Tabletop Inertia

In wrestling, any move done through a table hurts twice as much and does twice as much damage. This is bizarre, as in the real world, this definitely does not happen. Each obstacle in the path of a falling object will either completely stop or arrest its decline. That's why such occurrences are said to "break" a fall: it hurts less when you expend most of your kinetic energy before you hit the ground.

Clearly, in wrestling, the opposite is true: any object intercepting a plummeting body will cause that body's kinetic energy to increase. Pressboard folding tables must be made of the same curious material as the turbo boost arrows from Mario Kart.
