9 Most Disappointing Wrestling Cage Matches Of All Time

7. Big Show Vs. Undertaker - Punjabi Prison Match, Great American Bash '06

"Let's make the cage out of bamboo!" said an easily excitable member of WWE's creative team back in 2006. Unsurprisingly, no one batted an eye at the unnecessary change to the cage structure. Because in 2006, people just kinda went with things. Taking the place of The Great Khali at the last minute, Big Show spent much of this match in tears. He cried as he walked down to the ring. He cried when Undertaker walked down to the ring. He cried in the middle of the ring after the match was over. It was...weird. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xt7wb4_wwe-the-undertaker-vs-big-show-great-american-bash-2006-punjabi-prison_sport Despite Undertaker's general aptitude for taking pure crap and turning it into a reliable scarf, there was still a major sense of unease through the match, and the Punjabi Prison Match seemed doomed from the start. Again, it's not really that the action was bad, per se, just that the whole atmosphere felt off. Even when Taker performed showed his undying agility by performing some cool spots off the bamboo cage, it just didn't really work.
