9 Next Steps For Triple H

Last week, Triple H shocked us all when he emerged from the crowd, hit Roman Reigns with a Pedigree, dramatically turned his back on his former ally Seth Rollins, and gifted Kevin Owens the WWE Universal Championship.

Then seven days later on this week’s show, he was at it again with the surprises.

All signs seemed to point to some form of appearance from Triple H in which he’d explain his actions from the previous week, hopefully shedding some light on a rather murky situation. Even the infallible Raw Preview on WWE.com suggested we’d be getting some input from the Game himself regarding the state of play.

Of course, none of that happened, and we were left just as clueless as we had been in the days that preceded this week’s show.

Still, while nothing’s necessarily concrete right now, there are plenty of available directions that the company could opt to take. So in a futile bid to achieve the impossible of second-guessing WWE’s next moves, this article looks into nine potential next steps for Triple H in light of this most recent drama.

First and foremost, Triple H’s next step should really be some kind of an explanation.

As mentioned previously in the introduction, this was something we expected during this week’s showing of Monday Night Raw, and even though there was nothing forthcoming on this occasion, he’s going to have to speak out eventually. Really the only questions here relate to when that explanation’s going to arrive, as well as the actual rationale behind it.

In terms of a time frame, it’s clearly not too high on the company’s priority list, otherwise we’d have heard something by now. On the flipside though, it’s not like they can let this go on for too much longer without addressing it in some way.

Then as far as his rationale is concerned, the obvious answer would be that he’d grown sick and tired of Seth Rollins, and was seemingly rebelling against Steph and her choice of posterboy as a result. Then again, given Steph’s track record—particularly when it comes to matters involving Triple H—chances are she’s been in cahoots with her husband all along.

Long story short; nothing’s for sure at the moment, other than the fact that Triple H has got some explaining to do.
