9 Next WWE Steps For Dean Ambrose

1. Completing The Clean Sweep

Looking some way into the distant future, it’s difficult to predict where Ambrose should go, not least because a lot of these prior steps may never even come to fruition.

Still, at just 30 years of age, you can bet your bottom dollar that he still has plenty left in the tank, meaning there's every chance in the world of him completing something of a clean sweep of WWE accolades.

Ambrose already has Intercontinental, United States and WWE World Championship honours to his name, not to mention the title of Mr. Money in the Bank 2016. So really, all that’s left for him to achieve is a Tag Team Championship run of some sort, a must-have for any of the all-time greats, be it Cena, Austin, the Rock, or ‘Taker, as well as one of the most prized accomplishments in all of WWE; a victory in the Royal Rumble.

He came pretty close in 2016, and although 2017 may still be a little soon (plus it would run the risk of shattering my Shield reunion dream) there are still plenty of other years in which Ambrose would be able to win the big one.

With time on his side, its less a case of “if” and more a case of “when” Ambrose can complete the final step on his own personal checklist of completing a clean sweep of WWE honours.

Again, that’s an awfully long way into the future though and besides, in the meantime there’s a WWE World Championship to be chased.
