Emma was fun for about five minutes. But she's having trouble now. Her initial spell in NXT was decent, her awkward ring entrance was different and she showed herself to be a good ring worker. Emma's battles with Paige initially gave us some encouragement that there were women in the minor leagues who could have really good matches. The trouble with Emma is that her goofy character pigeon-holed her. She moved up to the main roster and introduced herself to the Divas division, but her in-ring talents took a back seat to the jokes, the deliberately crap dancing and Santino Marella. She even had a pink cobra. After Santino ended his days in the ring though, Emma lost herself. She ended up returning to NXT at the start of 2015 to rebuild - which in the circumstances, isn't too bad an idea. She's since attempted to drop the goofiness that limited her in her first WWE spell, and while it's not getting her back to where she wants to be at the moment, all isn't lost. The trouble is, there are loads of talented women in the same place or higher up. It's going to be a tough job for the Aussie to re-emerge.
