3. Most Time In A Rumble Without An Elimination
Sami Zayn (47:12)
Sami Zayn entered the 2017 Royal Rumble at Number 8, lasting a very admirable 47 minutes and 12 seconds and being among the final six remaining entrants before ultimately being eliminated by The Undertaker. The problem with his performance, though, was that he was unable to eliminate a single entrant in the match that entire time he was in the ring.
Yes, despite having the second longest tenure in the match (behind Chris Jericho, who lasted 1:00:13 from Number 2), Zayn did not use his time nearly as efficiently as he could have. And there were plenty of people in the match that Zayn could have feasibly eliminated - Kofi Kingston, Tye Dillinger, James f**king Ellsworth...but someone always managed to beat him to the punch.
His 2017 Rumble performance was largely representative of how he's been handled on the main roster, in that it was supposed to seem like a big deal but was not fruitful enough to really make a difference.
