9 Old-Timers That Won Wrestling Gold (And Shouldn't Have)

Look, we all love Moolah. We loved when she came back to the WWE along with Mae Young during the Attitude Era. We also loved the fact that Moolah wasn't the one who ended up giving birth to a big black hand in one of the most disgusting storylines of all time.

But a septuagenarian did not need to win the Women's Championship.

It would've been one thing if Moolah was taking the title away from someone like Debra, who didn't deserve to hold the championship in the first place. But she took it from Ivory, one of the few legitimate women to hold the title since its reactivation in the late 90s.

Granted, Ivory at least won it back from Moolah a week later, but this still seemed like a completely unnecessary pit stop.

Besides, it's not as if this was some kind of late ceremonial honor they bestowed upon her because they'd made an oversight in the past and never awarded her the championship. She'd already held the damn thing for more than 10,000 days combined. That's almost 28 full years as champ, folks.
