9 Planned WWE WrestleMania 32 Matches That Fell Apart
5. Triple H Versus Seth Rollins
After turning on The Shield and joining The Authority in 2014, Seth Rollins became a superstar - and WWE COO Triple H's top underling. He won the Money in the Bank briefcase and then the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but cracks in the partnership soon began to show - the two would butt heads over Rollins's perceived failings, and the former "Architect of The Shield" would still compare himself favorably to "The Game." As 2015 wore on and Rollins, even booked poorly, got more and more popular, a clash between mentor and pupil seemed unavoidable. When it was confirmed that The Rock wouldn't be able to take on Triple H at WrestleMania 32, Rollins was put in the slot. Why it fell apart: Reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was wrestling Kane at a house show in Dublin, Ireland when he tore his ACL, MCL, and median meniscus. Rollins was immediately stripped of the title and forced to undergo surgery, after which it was estimated that he'd be out six to nine months. With even the quickest of recoveries bringing "The Architect" back in May, there was no chance that Rollins would be able to make his scheduled match with Triple H.
