The high point of the Evolution of Punk documentary, as far as Punk's training is considered, was a submission win he scored in sparring in the final episode of the series. It was perhaps the first time we saw him win decisively in sparring (not that it really matters, as sparring by nature isn't fought with 100% power/effort).
However, you can expect that, as he seems comfortable with submissions, and since he has trained jiu-jitsu on a part time basis for years with the likes of Rener Gracie, that Punk will try to pull off at least one sub.
In fact, another Gracie family member, Renzo Grace, predicts Punk will win in the second round via guillotine choke. A rear-naked choke might be more likely, but it's clear Punk has his supporters.
