9 Problems With Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker Match At WrestleMania 32
4. What's With This Vince 'Messing Up' Story?
Something wasn't fully explained was when Vince and Shane broke the news to Stephanie that Shane never lost his place in the inheritance order. Shane claimed that Vince 'messed up huge' a few years ago, and because of the blunder, Shane negotiated a deal for himself to pursue ventures outside of WWE. At first glance, you could piece the vague clues together and think that maybe Vince did something illegal and Shane was allowed to disassociate himself to avoid any connections should Vince go to jail, but it was said in such a way that it didn't make sense. Or maybe Shane got his father out of some huge debt and negotiated some level of freedom anyway. The story will be forgotten by WrestleMania, but as of Monday night, it was kinda mind-numbing.
