9 Problems With Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker Match At WrestleMania 32

3. Would Anyone Actually Believe The Authority Would Go Away?

So the deal is if Shane beats Undertaker, he gets to run Monday Night Raw. That would mean removing Triple H and Stephanie from power, a storyline we saw just as recently as Survivor Series 2014. It lasted exactly six weeks before it was overturned, rendering a well-done main event match completely moot. Let's face it: Stephanie and Triple H enjoy being on camera too much. They take social media photos with every major celebrity that is comped a ticket, because they want to look like savvy and urbane corporate officers, the precise opposite of Vince's poor handling of the media. For Hunter and Stephanie to go away diminishes their profile. Would they really risk that, even if it was as short-lived as the last time an ousting story took place?
