Heat — which you define as “a black cloud that follows an individual after a personal conflict or misunderstanding between two or more individuals backstage” — and the damage it can do to a WWE wrestler’s career is the theme of both of your books. Tyler Breeze and Titus O’Neil have both copped some heat this year. Breeze, as the story goes, for leaving a SmackDown taping before it ended in January; O’Neil, as everyone knows, for playfully grabbing Vince McMahon as the Chairman walked up the ramp on the February 7 Raw. Should Breeze and O’Neil have known better?

“Titus should have known better because I think he’s gone down this road before. I think he was warned. I think the suspension was [going] overboard with him missing WrestleMania. But he should definitely have known better.

“Tyler Breeze . . . That depends on your relationships. If he knew the right people, they could have gone to bat for him and said he had an emergency and so on and so forth. It’s how you play The Game, and he didn’t play it so well.”
