A self-coined nickname for Ryback during his tag team days with Curtis Axel has been "The Big Guy". Basically as a heel, Ryback called himself this to be egotistical, or a way to say I'm the man. Every time he called himself "The Big Guy" it would follow with the cocky smile and head bob similar to the likes of Kurt Angle when he was delivering some sort of arrogant line. When Ryback was originally a face, he was really robotic, a man of few words; however, he still was able to play to the crowd well with his various mannerisms. Adding more of a personality, along with some fun catchphrases for the WWE Universe would be a great way to get back him back to the status he was two and a half years prior when he debuted the new gimmick.
