9 Reasons Ryback Returning As A Face Is Best For Business
4. Ryback Would Make A Great Challenger To Rusev
Since May of this year, Rusev has been running rampant on the WWE roster. For his entire stay in the WWE, himself and Lana would bad mouth America for being an inferior country while shoving down their love for Vladimir Putin down our throats. Showing Putin's mug on the Titantron always gets a loud boo from the WWE Universe. There have been several guys to try to take down Rusev and defend the honor of the United States, including the face turn of Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, and now currently The Big Show. Most will figure that The Big Show will not get the job done, and some think Mark Henry will turn heel and cost Big Show at Hell In A Cell. That leaves the door open for yet another full blooded American to try to be the first to make Rusev submit or be pinned. Enter Ryback. His speed, strength, and agility make for a good match with Rusev having the same traits. If the WWE wants to get Ryback over again, turning him face to challenge Rusev would be a great way, especially considering how well the face turn was received for Jack Swagger.
