Just shy of celebrating one full year on the main roster, the unfortunate Neville was benched with an injury right before WrestleMania 32; crocked during a match with Chris Jericho on the 14 March 2016 episode of Raw, the high-flying Englishman's fractured ankle left him on the sidelines and out of 'Mania completely.

In an instant, Neville went from being part of the multi-man Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title to watching the pay-per-view like a fan, and that can't have felt good.

Things are much brighter for the once-redundant mid carder in 2017. WWE's leading light in the revamped Cruiserweight division, the freshly-turned heelish antics of Neville have made him the division's champion and he will defend against Austin Aries on 2 April.

This is WrestleMania redemption for the Newcastle native, and he will be eager to finally have that 'Mania Moment' that's often lauded as wrestling's own Holy Grail. Not only that, but missing the biggest show of the year means a financial hit for any WWE performer, so it's pleasing that Neville won't suffer that fate for a second year running.
