9 Things That Must Happen At WWE No Mercy 2017
9. Get The Hardy Boyz On The Kickoff Show
Seven matches are currently booked for No Mercy, leaving plenty of room for a Kickoff match to be announced. What will that bout be? Another comprehensive singles win for Elias? A forgettable six-man cruiserweight melee that ends with Cedric Alexander pinning Drew Gulak? Alicia Fox vs. Dana Brooke?
Of all the stars currently missing from the No Mercy card, there are none bigger than Matt and Jeff Hardy. The initial nostalgia created by their WrestleMania return has now worn off, and Team Extreme is approaching another career crossroads. Does Jeff have one singles run left in him? Is Matt going to be Broken any time soon?
Neither of these questions will be answered on Sunday night, but the Hardy Boyz should at least get a showing on the Kickoff show. Gallows & Anderson are also doing nothing at No Mercy and could slot in against Matt and Jeff, but maybe it is best for the Miztourage to take the loss here. Just be sure to open the doors to the arena before starting the match.
