7. Alexa Bliss Must Retain

Speaking of The Wicked Witch of WWE, she should also be victorious on Sunday. Alexa Bliss will defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Mickie James, in what feels for all the world like a stop-gap defence before moving on to more important things. I mean that as no disrespect to Mickie, but she has been treated as a secondary character at best since the Superstar Shake-Up.

Mickie James was inducted into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame last weekend, gaining WWE some great cross-media promotion in the process. As the only women to win the WWE Women’s, WWE Divas and TNA Knockout’s Championships, she can’t truly be counted out. Never say 'never' in WWE, but even the most ardent of Mickie fans must be lacking optimism in this one.

Alexa Bliss must defeat Mickie on Sunday though, as the red brand builds towards an eventual meeting between Bliss and Asuka. This will be yet another example of the bully winning out in the end, but the promotion often puts itself in these ridiculous situations.

He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
