9 Things To Expect With TNA's New Ownership
4. Merchandise And Website Upgrades
TNA’s website is an absolute embarrassment. It used to be decent, not great, but serviceable, and now it’s about as impressive as the official website for a middle school in a small town. Hell, Chrisley Knows Best has a better website than TNA does, and they don’t have to sell any merchandise as part of their business plan.
The company has also mysteriously seemed to have half-way given up on merchandising in general, as they sell their shirts now through prowrestlingtees. Why would they bother sharing the profits? It’s likely because they weren’t selling enough stuff to justify hiring full-time warehouse workers to package and ship things. That is due in part to their website being so lousy. It’s a cyclical problem that you can imagine the Fight Network will soon clean up.
Their site looks like a professional one, with loads of news stories, videos, podcasts, information on fighters and more. If the Fight Network can overhaul their website, and make it attractive for fans to buy merchandise, then that alone will make their takeover worthwhile on TNA's end.
