9 Things To Expect With TNA's New Ownership

3. People Will Finally Get Paid

One of the most depressing things about TNA over the past few years is the fact that so many hard-working men and women haven’t been paid on time...some claim they weren’t paid at all. This isn’t just a problem for the wrestlers, as production personnel, merchandising companies, even banks haven’t been paid what they’ve been owed.

The Fight Network is going to want to try and turn around TNA’s image as fast as humanly possible. They don’t want a toxic brand in their portfolio, so they’ll make sure to pay out the millions of dollars in debt that Dixie Carter has wrung up with loads of creditors. It just may sadly take a bit of time to figure out who all those creditors are, as new ones seem to be popping up every few days.

It will be a new era for Fight and TNA, and if they want to lure in new employees in on-and-off-air roles, they’re going to need to display some good faith that if they sign on, they’ll be paid on time...you know, just like a normal job.

However, that may still not be enough to keep some people happy...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
