The Undertaker has always been fiercely protective of his legendary character, and that's partly why the gimmick has experienced such incredible longevity.

Giggling away when recalling Undertaker's glum facial expressions, the fun-loving side of Prichard came out when he described 'Taker's disgust upon being asked by Vince McMahon to don 'Stars & Stripes' lining on the inside of his ring jacket at the 1993 Survivor Series.

As part of the 'All-Americans' team with Lex Luger and The Steiner Brothers, The Undertaker hated the notion that he'd be so openly cheesy, and the American flag lining isn't visible on the WWE Network version of the pay-per-view despite Bruce claiming that 'Taker wore the jacket McMahon had made for him.

There's a reason for that; backstage, Undertaker told McMahon with a straight face that his dog had actually eaten the jacket's lining, and he therefore wouldn't be able to use it going forward. Quite clearly, the wrestler just didn't want to compromise the integrity of his gimmick by being so patriotic.
