NXT TakeOver: Dallas quickly becomes the topic of discussion. Gable and Jordan are briefly brought up, as is Bayley/Asuka, but Shinsuke Nakamura understandably soon becomes the main subject.

Ross is a big fan of Swagsuke, stemming from his appearance at the announce desk for Wrestle Kingdom 9 where Nakamura put on one of the best matches of last year against Kota Ibushi.

Ross asks Cornette what he feels Nakamura's ceiling in WWE is, and Cornette gives the response that many level-headed fans also give. Nakamura has a physical magnetism that simply can't be taught. He isn't the biggest, but when you look at him you want to look for longer. Shinsuke Nakamura has that intangible IT factor.

Even so, Cornette brings up the WWE's less than stellar track record when it comes to international talent, be it from Japan, Mexico or Europe. Vince McMahon is quite famous for being isolated in his own wrestling world, and the accomplishments of international talent more often than not wash over his head. Cornette worries that Nakamura could be yet another victim of this.

If he's allowed to be himself and shine, however, the sky is truly the limit.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
