Even though it came two years after a comeback many thought impossible in the first place, and ended in utter ignominy, Goldberg reveals that his nightmare opposite The Undertaker was "never going to be his last match anyway".

It's natural to immediately assume that this is Bill's petulance brimming over like a kid who hasn't made the school football team, a personal excuse to help assuage the guilt and embarrassment of such a sh*tshow. Assuming he's telling the truth, an enormous once-in-a-lifetime clash with The Phenom is a bit of an odd way to rekindle a career; it's really more of a conclusion than a prologue.

Goldberg's comments are especially odd when contrasted with his earlier stated reasons for coming back. Let's file this revelation under 'dubious'.
