Hunt's kickboxing background gave him an excellent base to build-on upon entering MMA with Japan’s legendary PRIDE FC. While his grappling game remains a few steps behind the competition, The Super Samoan’s K-1 experience puts him at the very front of the pack as far as pure MMA strikers go.

Hunt has a long history of putting people to sleep in the octagon. His right hand is a thing of legend, and his power is unmatched: 6 of his UFC wins have come by way of knockout, and if Brock’s defence isn’t on-point, Hunt won’t hesitate to make him the 7th.

Hunt isn’t just a power puncher, though. He doesn’t have the cardio to go all-out from bell-to-bell, so he holds back, bides his time, and picks his spots with expert timing and precision. A slow, plodding fighter on first appearance, Hunt bursts into life as soon as an opportunity presents itself, and rarely expends unnecessary energy with needless, wayward punches.

These skills make Hunt a dangerous opponent for anybody in the heavyweight division, let alone a man with Lesnar’s notoriously bad striking defence.
