9 Things You Probably Saw For The Last Time At WrestleMania 32

3. The Rock At WrestleMania Without A Hall Of Fame Ring

At WrestleMania 32, The Rock appeared for his now annual overly-long talking segment, which ended this year with him breaking the record for the shortest match at WrestleMania when he vanquished Erick Rowan in six measly seconds.

Regardless of your opinion of the segment itself, the audience still loses its collective mind for Dwayne Johnson, and his popularity sees no sign of dissipating.

WrestleMania 33 will come to us from Orlando, Florida, which just so happens to the state in which The Rock resides (at least when he isn't in a gym at 5am).

Every year the WWE likes to induct a marquee name into their Hall of Fame, and The Rock is something of a no-brainer to receive this accolade next year.

The majority of his Attitude Era peers find themselves in already, and the extra media attention that would come with his induction is surely enough to bring the McMahon family to rabid excitement.

I expect WrestleMania 32 will be the last time we see The Rock at Mania without him being called a 'Hall of Famer', meaning Erick Rowan finally has a claim to fame.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
