9 Things You Probably Saw For The Last Time At WrestleMania 32

4. The Divas Championship

Arguably the most important event of WrestleMania 32 saw the retiring of the Divas Championship, to be replaced by the WWE Women's Championship.

This change was long overdue, with many clamouring the 'divas' name to be left to fade into the past.

A new title belt was introduced too, a more classical wrestling championship belt that removes any idea of the females of WWE being less than spectacular athletes.

It looks like a championship worth fighting (even if the irony of the aesthetics of a belt being so important whilst arguing that the aesthetics of the competitors isn't important can't be ignored).

Charlotte would pick up the new championship by defeating Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in what was arguably the match of the night at WrestleMania 32, laying the Divas Championship to rest in the process.

If it returns in the future, something has gone wrong somewhere along the line.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
