9 Things You Probably Saw For The Last Time At WrestleMania 32

1. The Undertaker Wrestling At WrestleMania

Ever since Brock Lesnar ended the streak at WrestleMania XXX, whispers about the Undertaker retiring have persistently stuck around. Each year comes with claims that it will be his last, and when WrestleMania 32 was announced as taking place in Dallas, Texas (Taker's home state) many assumed it would be his final appearance.

If John Cena had stayed healthy, this may have been confirmed already. When Taker was booked to go up against Shane McMahon the feeling changed, as it seemed so strange for the Deadman to go out against Shane.

More so than most, 'Taker seems to come with all manner of overly analytical conspiracies. He removed his gloves at the end of the match, something many have said may be symbolic of a farewell.

Dave Meltzer even went so far as to say 'Taker had been telling people backstage at the event that the Cell match with Shane would be his last.

His on/off status on the forthcoming UK tour adds more fuel to the fire. Whilst still on the tour, he has been removed from a number of events. This could simply be damage limitation, but it may also be a harbinger of things to come, the fast approaching end for one of the greatest of all-time.

Will we see The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33? I wouldn't be surprised if that is answered in the negative.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
