One of CM Punk's major issues with the WWE, and a factor which led him to leaving the company in January 2014, was that former stars like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson would come back just in time for a huge WrestleMania payday, while he and the rest of the roster were working all the house shows and were shunted down the card. Of course, what Punk failed to realise was that big stars like The Rock has earned their position in the WrestleMania main event not only because of their previous hard work for the company in the past, but also because they draw people to the event, even casual or non-fans. WrestleMania XXVIII, headline by The Rock versus Cena, is the highest-grossing wrestling event of all-time. That's because of the involvement of The Rock, who beat Cena, clean with the Rock Bottom, in a surprisingly great main event.
