9 Times The Undertaker Helped Make WWE Superstars (And The One That Got Away)
2. Kane
Without Undertaker, there would be no Kane. One of the greatest wrestling stories ever told - and one of the greatest wrestling characters ever created - owe themselves to The Deadman. The way that story was set up; Kane was the answer to taking down the near-invincible Undertaker, their powers comparable to one another.
During Kane's first appearance in WWE, interrupting the first Hell In A Cell match between 'Taker and Shawn Michaels, as The Big Red Machine tears the cell door from its hinges and steps up to his big brother, Undertaker's face tells the entire story. The flicker of doubt - even fear - in the eyes of the previously unflappable Deadman sold Kane as a monster better than any match of promo ever could.
From Badd Blood: In Your House 1997, in that demonic structure designed specifically for Kane, right up to the moment that Undertaker said goodbye at last year's Survivor Series, Kane has always been a part of the story. While their matches against each other were never the best, 'Taker made sure that we would remember the name of his brother.
