Hold the phone for a moment, because yes, we know: the verdant vellum pressed for the winner of Jeddah's Greatest Royal Rumble is an absolutely gorgeous example of abdominal accoutrement.

It's not the look of the beautiful green belt, proudly hoisted by Braun Strowman at the close of Saudi Arabia's ludicrous 50-man version of Pat Patterson's greatest innovation, that is ugly, but rather the circumstances of its creation. The gaudy Saudi strap, alongside a huge trophy, was manufactured purely on the whim of WWE's highly paying Middle Eastern patrons, to their specifications and satisfaction.

It's absolutely telling that it's never been seen since, and probably sits proudly within a display case of the General Sports Authority's museum, alongside empty glass cases reserved for European football trophies coming as a result of the government's next miserable sportswashing project.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
