9 Unhinged R-Truth Skits That Had You Doubting His Sanity

1. Lil' Jimmy

The legendary 'Little Jimmy' character began life as a heel skit: a riff on all the kids that supported characters like John Cena or Hulk Hogan, but who wouldn't get behind the cheerfully banal babyfaced R-Truth... even though he had rapped for them and danced for them "like a goooood R-Truth". Months later, this wasn't a skit anymore. First the increasingly bananas Truth was being stalked, harassed, actually bullied by an imaginary little goblin creature called 'Lil' Jimmy'... and then, upon Truth's babyface turn, he was being supported at ringside by his sidekick and, occasionally, tag team partner Lil' Jimmy. This would result in some comedy gold, which was a breath of fresh air on a show which often took its humour straight out of the toilet. There was the aforementioned punking out of Daniel Bryan. There was Heath Slater kicking Lil' Jimmy in the face, which resulted in both Truth and the crowd reacting as if he'd genuinely kicked a kid right in the face. There was the fantastic skit with Triple H, who began meanspiritedly talking to his own imaginary imaginary friends in order to take the piss out of Truth in public... only to get a nervous grin and a skeptical raised eyebrow as Truth called him crazy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDbYgNuGV0M Lil' Jimmy was retired some time ago, but as far as R-Truth comedy skits go, he was the signature spot: the wrestling character that Ron Killings will be remembered for for the rest of his life.
