9 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Sep 16)

8. Eddie Kingston's Three-Point Plan

Eddie Kingston and his army of bastards flexed their power last night, hitting the ring with a trio of points to make.

1. Again, he never lost the Casino Battle Royale, having not gone over the top rope. There's plenty of unexplored territory with Jon Moxley, Lance Archer, and the AEW World Title to cover.

2. Him, The Lucha Brothers, and The Butcher and The Blade are a family, not a faction, and while most families go out to dinner or therapy to smooth their issues out, they get violent. Cue: a bunch of enhancement guys getting dragged over the barricade, beaten up, and thrown back out.

3. It's time for Blade to get his own his in order, which likely refers to his real-life wife, Allie, who currently has QT Marshall wrapped around her little finger.

More than a simple flex, this set the group off in multiple new directions while touching on last week's dissent, with Pentagon and Fenix getting into a shoving match. Pulling so many threads in such a short segment is effective, economical storytelling.
