9 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Sep 16)

4. FTR Put Jurassic Express Down

Cash Wheeler Jungle Boy
AEW

FTR's All Out clash with Hangman Page and Kenny Omega fell short of many a viewer's astronomical expectations. If you fell into that category, you may see last night's bounce-back win over Jurassic Express as something of a return to form, as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler entered one of their finest TV performances yet.

The bout began with The Young Bucks superkicking a referee, further highlighting their personality shift since Hangman Page screwed them over. A direct product of FTR's manipulation, Cash and Dax revelled in it backstage, laughing in the Bucks' faces as they passed by after throwing a pile of money at a hapless Tony Khan.

As for the match? Jungle Boy was born to play a face-in-peril for FTR. He was worked over extensively, with the heels using cunning, craft, and diversionary tactics to cut the ring off and heap sympathy on Jungle Boy, building to the obligatory awesome Luchasaurus hot tag. This led to some close near-falls for Jungle Boy before his big, burly partner was neutralised, diving into the crowd as Tully Blanchard pulled Cash away, shortly before the devious trio combined to roll Harwood into a successful pinball.

No problem with the interference finish here, as the outcome only makes Jurassic Express look more sympathetic - and FTR look like total pricks.
