9 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (27 Oct)

8. Small, Beautiful Details

Of course, more than one backstage interview was interrupted later on the broadcast - it was an episode of AEW Dynamite - but a lot of signature AEW detail informed the show-closing angle. Bryan Danielson was interviewed near the Dusty position, where he was preparing for his match against Sammy Guevara (which really should have followed, but alas). He was confronted by a hot Wheeler YUTA, walking back from the ring, who all but said "Follow that, motherf*cker" in a cracking promo miles better than his work opposite MJF.

AEW finally engineered an interruption that felt halfway organic - although, again, it would have made far more sense for the Danielson Vs. Sammy Guevara match to happen there and then.

Still, this led to the team meeting, which allowed the Firm to barricade the BCC in their locker room in order to beat Mox down in an effective heat angle that didn't blur into yet another stable brawl.
