9 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 19)

8. The End Of SCU?

The obligatory follow-up on last week's team-splitting loss for SoCal Uncensored came in the form of a backstage interview with Alex Marvez, facilitating a fired-up Frankie Kazarian promo.

Marvez addressed Daniels' retirement teases. CD wouldn't get into it, instead grabbing hands with Kaz, whispering something in his ear, and walking out, leaving his partner alone. That's when Frankie turned up the heat, making it his mission to hunt down every member of the Super Elite after taking "something very special from him," preaching "the gospel according to Frankie Kazarian."

A solo Kazarian run sounds like a blast right now. He has a clear, defined reason to want to kill these guys, particularly with the nature of The Young Bucks' win, and he has so much unexplored territory to cover outwith the tag division. As for Daniels, this could be it for him. He's had a long, hard, and successful career, becoming an icon away from the world's biggest promotion, and will go out on a high note. Whatever he decides, more power to him.
