9 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 19)

Ups...

9. Nail In Your Coffin

Good stuff from Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky this week, who added meat to their act's bones when they needed to, delivering a couple of in-ring promos alongside Tony Schiavone.

Sky was assertive and relatively calm, while Page was manic. All Ego went all in here, showing no remorse for throwing Darby Allin down the arena steps the other week, promising to be the nail in his coffin at Double Or Nothing. Out came Allin and Sting to put a beating on the heels and run them off, with The Dark Order cutting off both entrance tunnels on the escape.

This was a necessary development for a tag team that is building momentum but still felt a tad undercooked prior to last night. Sky and Page are both very, very good at what they do, it was just a case of finding something more compelling for them than "we've both been held back," particular as Ethan has only been here for three months.

Oh, and Sting is wrestling live at Double Or Nothing. For the first time in six years.

Wild.
