9 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 21)

Kenny Omega derp face
AEW

The whole framing of Kenny Omega was phenomenal last night, and a great way to show that he is once again on the path to becoming the best version of himself.

AEW gave Omega a megastar entrance. His music had a special, original introduction, and Justin Roberts ran through what felt like 400 different accolades as he was hyping him up. Cleaner girls with brooms danced on the stage before 'Battle Cry' hit and Omega finally emerged, feeling every bit the headline he was in New Japan, even while he was wrestling on the first hour.

As for the match? Sonny Kiss was finished in less than 10 seconds, eating a V-Trigger and a One-Winged Angel. Goodnight.

Hamming it up as he hoisted Kiss' arm aloft afterwards, an Omega dripping with insincerity went out of his way to say "see, I'm a good guy!" when Sonny looked like he wanted to smack him in the mouth. Yes, 'The Cleaner' is coming.

He might already be here, in fact.
