9 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming (Dec 2)

4. Look How Far We've Come

Jon Moxley
AEW

Jon Moxley's contractually-obliged great weekly promo went down before Winter Is Coming's main event, with the AEW World Champion in reflective form ahead of his clash with Keny Omega.

'The Purveyor Of Violence' put the occasion over huge. He acknowledged the magic in the air, called it the biggest night in Dynamite history, and said he and Omega - the two best wrestlers in the world - were destined to battle on the mountaintop. The stakes couldn't be higher, and all that was left was to go out and "make them go absolutely banana[s]."

An expert salesman, Moxley always does an excellent job of using his promos to promote. You should walk away from these things feeling more excited for whatever he was talking about than when you entered. Here, Mox did a grand job of making an already important bout feel even more so.
