9 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (13 March)

1. How Hard The Roster Worked

WWE can be proud of how hard the roster in attendance for this week's SmackDown worked to make the show hitch-free. Nobody looked uncomfortable with the lack of crowd noise, and nobody was especially awkward when it would've been easy to be.

Sasha Banks and Bayley deserve a special shout out for immediately breaking the ice with their heel-ish antics and behaviour towards Michael Cole and Triple H. They never once seemed unsure of what to do or how to act without fans, and Bayley even made light of the fact nobody was there by posing and sarcastically waving anyway.

That was funny.

This wasn't a perfect edition of SmackDown, and the environment isn't ideal by any means, but WWE proved they can still put on an entertaining show without organic atmosphere. Management should thank everyone involved in the broadcast for how natural they made things look.
