9 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (13 March)
2. Bray Wyatt's Joker To John Cena's Batman
Who knows if it's deliberate or not, but this John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt rivalry has splashes of Batman vs. The Joker about it.
The best heels are those who firmly believe they're in the right, and Bray's words as SmackDown went off the air suggest his character does. To Wyatt, Cena is a corporate puppet who craves the spotlight and doesn't mind wrecking dreams if he gets the glory. His fame-chasing has left guys like Bray out in the cold once too often.
As Cena glared back at his 'Mania foe, he steeled his chin like a certain 'Caped Crusader' might when Joker was verbally tearing him a new one with sermons based on twisted reality. If WWE take a page from the Bat-book and develop this further, then they could stumble upon one of the most special stories in recent company history.
Joker is an almost-unstoppable threat to someone with Bruce Wayne's morals, and the same could be said of Cena. If he wants to secure WWE's future, then he should get the hell out of the way and let Wyatt work. That was the loudest message from Friday's face-to-face.
