9 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (13 March)
5. Happy Hardy
A happy, healthy Jeff Hardy is good for WWE.
The company didn't ask too much of Jeff for his return. He beat 'King' Corbin in less than three minutes, ran through some of his usual spots, debuted a new signature move (the 'Twist Of Fury' has replaced the 'Twist Of Fate') and looked motivated.
Having a veteran like Hardy back during WrestleMania season should be a nice little boost for the creative team too. They've got someone else to play with now on SmackDown, and the fact it's someone credible is even better. Jeff will come in very handy for matches on these empty arena shows. There's a joke in there about TNA somewhere.
Seriously though, it's great to see him back in the ring. Hardy is popular with fans, can work against pretty much anybody and plugs that mid-level babyface hole that existed on Friday nights. So long as he can keep personal problems away from WWE, this is win-win.
