7. History-Making Challenge

When it was announced that Deonna Purrazzo would be defending the Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace in the main event of Emergence’s second night, it was bound to be an outstanding clash between two of Impact’s greatest wrestlers today. Their Slammiversary showdown was an epic encounter, so why would the second instalment be any different?

Following the challenge laid out by ‘The Virtuosa’ this week, however, it’s looking all but confirmed that this match will be far better than the original.

The new champion is insisting on a 30 minute Iron Man Match for 25 August, marking the first time in Impact history that Knockouts have received such a stipulation.

The quality of Iron Man Matches ranges depending on how well suited the participants involved are to the situation. This is one we’ll have to wait to see how it plays out.
