6. Tough Love

Unlike the second instalment, the first venture into Wrestle House this week was actually alright, being centred around tough love between XXXL, as Acey Romero took the fight to Larry D after his refusal of food being the most important thing in the world while watching The Best of Taya Valkyrie. Just how some of the world’s greatest fights have started, right?

Although it would have been easy to imagine a majorly mat-based contest between the two superheavyweights given their sheer size, Acey and Larry had quite an enjoyable match between them. Romero even left his feet for a dropkick – not what we often see from the popcorn fan. Larry D would end up winning the bout with the Best Hand In The House knockout punch to bring an end to a decent affair.

Again, not the most amazing thing of all time, but it was a fine match between the XXXL members. Who knows, perhaps they’ll both be back on the same page by next week with regards to popcorn.
