9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 9)

Downs...

3. Released From Kwaranteen

An incredibly minor Down if ever there was on, seeing as it's essentially a complaint about things sort of beginning to return to normality. Cody Deaner made his return to the Impact Zone, saving Cousin Jake and Willie Mack from a post-match beatdown at the hands of Chris Bey and Johnny Swinger, which sadly means we'll be seeing no more Kwaranteen segments.

Deaner has excelled in abundance throughout this no crowd era, with his Kwaranteen routines being truly sensational, as was his match at the Deaner Compound against The North. While it's great to have him and Cousin Jake reunited, it's a shame we'll never get to see any more of those skits. As long as Cody can continue being his hilarious self, then all will be fine. It would be a waste if he reverted to being nothing more than an in-ring performer.
