9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 17)
8. Court Date
Just when you thought Impact Wrestling had seen enough returns for 2020, they throw another one in our faces, as Tommy Dreamer is bringing back Wrestler's Court next Tuesday. The defendant this time around? Johnny Swinger.
After being given a tip-off from The Deaners, 'The Innovator of Violence' did indeed find a gun in Swinger's fanny pack, a gun Detective Dreamer can only assume was used to shoot John E. Bravo. 'The Swing Man' didn't really seem to know what was going on, but then again, he never really does.
It was around this time last year when Wrestler's Court was a thing in Impact Wrestling, and it was somewhat of a hit. Thankfully, it was nowhere near as cringeworthy as the infamous Little People's Court skit between D-Generation X and Hornswoggle in 2009, but rather used as a way to settle arguments in the Impact locker room. Considering the nature of the story that's being told here, there's never been a better time for Detective Dreamer to become Judge Dreamer.
