9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 3)

4. The North Goes South

Ethan Page's first bout since becoming a two-time World Tag Team Champion saw him battle Doc Gallows, a match that was surprisingly quite good. In saying surprisingly, it shouldn't take any credit away from either man, it's simply because we typically see the duo in doubles action.

It was a good, evenly-fought contest that brought out 'The Big LG's' comedy side to its full extent as he mocked Page's Karate Man persona. Things didn't necessarily last too long either. 'All Ego' took control for a while thanks to Josh's assistance, but a distraction at ringside allowed Gallows to kick Page upside the jaw to gain the win. Even though the reigning champions unleashed an onslaught on their Turning Point challengers post-match, it would be The Good Brothers who stood tall at the end of things.

Nowhere near the best bout on the card, but it was still nice. The story that was built between the two teams, as well as The Motor City Machine Guns and the team of Ace Austin and Madman Fulton, heading into Bound For Glory was superb, and it's continuing to show here. A fun match to build towards next Saturday.
