The build to it may not have been perfect, but Ring of Honor Final Battle 2022 is now in the record books.

As Tony Khan continues to impart his own fingerprints over the ROH letters, Final Battle proved to be a very stellar outing for the ROH brand. There were plentiful title changes, some fantastic in-ring action, and yet another genuine Match of the Year contender as 2022 rolls to an end. Seriously, one match in particular was absolutely worth the price of the PPV alone.

While Final Battle was for the most part a brilliant pro wrestling show, that's not to say it was entirely flawless. Certain hiccups, a smidge of miscommunication, and the aforementioned questionable build to some bouts meant that there were a few bumps in the road for the 21st edition of an event that has been a staple of Ring of Honor since 2002.

Still, the positives far outweighed the negatives at Arlington, Texas' College Park Center last night. Wrestling was allowed to shine, long-standing feuds were (hopefully) concluded, and those in attendance for the PPV will have walked away from the arena knowing that they'd just seen something truly special.

With that in mind, let's get to it and break down those Ups and Downs.
