9 Ups & 3 Downs From ROH Final Battle 2022

2. The Final Battles...

ROH Final Battle 2022 Wheeler Yuta Claudio Castagnoli
ROH

It remains to be seen if this statement does indeed ring true, but Final Battle appears to have finally brought a close to the battles between the Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club.

These two factions have been involved in some great matches across this year, but the feud really had become one that just wouldn't die. It's back in May - a whole seven months ago - where things really started to heat up between these two groups, and fatigue had long set in with fans' appetite for more JAS vs. BCC shenanigans.

With Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli both victorious over their JAS counterparts at Final Battle, that should hopefully be the end of the beef between these two factions. Let Claudio and Wheeler focus on new challengers for their respective titles in ROH, whilst Jericho, Garcia et al can focus their nefarious energies elsewhere in AEW.

From here on out, Ring of Honor is Blackpool Combat Club territory, and having fighting babyfaces Yuta and Castagnoli in key positions in the company is only a good thing.
