9 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Sep 2)

7. Jurassic Express vs. Jon Cruz & David Ali

Jon Cruz Luchasaurus
AEW

A fun outing here, with Jurassic Express playing to their strengths and Jon Cruz making the most of it as well, mounting Luchasaurus as he struggled to cope with the size discrepancy early on.

The layout was familiar to anyone who has ever seen a Jurassic squash before. Luchasaurus controlled things at the start then tagged Jungle Boy, who spiked the pace with quickfire offense. The big man came back in, levelled the enhancement guys with big kicks and other such bombs, before Jurassic finished the opposition within a few minutes.

Marko Stunt spent the bout hampered by the cast around his ankle, having been flattened by Jake Hager the previous week. A nice touch of continuity though there was no follow-up on Hager's teased bout with Luchasaurus.
