9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (2 Feb)

Downs...

4. Number Two Contenders

If you recall, Chris Sabin and James Storm actually lost to Private Party two weeks in a match that was to determine The Good Brothers' World Tag Team Championships challengers for No Surrender. Despite their loss, the aptly-named Beer Guns pairing will receive a shot at the straps before Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy receive theirs. It's bat-sh*t booking.

Fair enough, they're both icons of Impact's doubles division, but there is no way you can warrant them challenging for the titles after they literally lost a match that saw the winners become first-in-line to contend for them. It'll be a great match no doubt, but again, you have to think about this from a storyline perspective. At least Private Party were furious at the match being made for next Tuesday.
